Renault UK Online Shop (http://www.renault.co.uk/ownerservices/shop/ ) is an important part of Renault UK „Owner Services” initiative. The initiative main goal is to serve existing Renault car owners and provide them with a rich set of information and services relevant to vehicle ownership. Renault Shop is the first attempt to introduce a true and fully equipped Business-to-Customer (B2C) e-commerce solution, with all its constituent functionalities (such as full electronic payment solution) into Renault UK „After Sales” Activity. MakoLab SA (www.makolab.com). which created the shop software for Renault UK, has enriched it with the implementation of the Semantic Web GoodRelations vocabulary under the guidance of Professor Martin Hepp – the creator of GoodRelations. To our best knowledge, Renault UK Online Shop is the first real-life application of the GoodRelations vocabulary in an automotive industry e-commerce solution.
